Extra years: SC +5, ST +5, OBC +5, PwBD +15, Ex-servicemen +3
Qualification: A graduation degree plus a teacher-training qualification (BTC / D.El.Ed, special BTC, B.El.Ed or the RCI special-education diploma listed in the advertisement) and a pass in a Teacher Eligibility Test (UP or Central) for classes 1–5.
Also required: Upper age 40 is for the urban primary post; the attached-primary post in aided schools has only a minimum age of 21 (retirement at 62). Relaxation is for SC, ST and OBC of Uttar Pradesh (5 years), disabled candidates of UP (15 years) and ex-servicemen (3 years plus service); Shiksha Mitras up to 60. Candidates from other states get no reservation.
