- A B.A. or B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) from a recognised university, matriculation with Punjabi as a subject, and proficiency in computer operation.

- Needs matriculation with Punjabi. Age relaxation, fee concession and reservation are only for residents of Punjab (others apply as General). Ex-servicemen of Punjab: military service plus 3 years. Government employees up to 45.
