- PRT: 12th + D.El.Ed + CTET; TGT: degree + B.Ed + CTET; PGT: Master's + B.Ed.
- Also required
- Upper age limit by post: PRT 30, TGT 35, PGT 40 (women +10 for teaching posts).

- PRT: 12th with 50% plus D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed and CTET Paper I. TGT: degree plus B.Ed (50%) and CTET Paper II. PGT: Master's (50%) in the subject plus B.Ed.

- Upper age limit depends on the post: PRT 30, TGT 35, PGT 40 (women get 10 more years for teaching posts). PRT and TGT need CTET; PGT needs B.Ed.
