- A 3-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or AMIE (Sections A & B).
- Also required
- Only domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir can apply. Needs a mechanical engineering diploma or degree (or AMIE), not just 12th. Age on 01.01.2026: Open Merit up to 40; SC, ST, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS and OBC up to 43; disabled up to 42.
