- 12th pass plus a Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy with registration (Pharmacist), a 2-year Diploma in Radiography (X-Ray Technician) or a 2-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (Lab Technician).

- Needs the matching diploma after 12th. Physical standards and a physical test apply. Ex-servicemen: military service is deducted from age (up to 3 years above the limit).
