- A degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry or Medicine (or a listed equivalent).

- Needs a degree in one of the listed subjects. Age on 01.08.2026: minimum 21; maximum 37 unreserved men, 40 unreserved women and BC/EBC, 42 SC/ST. Reservation only for Bihar residents.
