- Qualification
- Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent, passed by 1 July 2026. SC/ST candidates: SSC (10th) pass and appeared for both years of Intermediate.
- Also required
- PC (Civil) and PC (AR): 18 and under 24 on 1 July 2026. Firemen and Warders: 18 and under 32 (born 2 Jul 1994 – 1 Jul 2008); AP Home Guards with 360 days' service: also under 32. BC, SC, ST and EWS get 5 more years, ex-servicemen 3 years plus service. Candidates from outside Andhra Pradesh are treated as open category, and 95% of posts go to locals. Height: men 167.6 cm, women 152.5 cm (lower for ST of agency areas).
