- A bachelor's degree with Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology or Agriculture as a subject, or a B.E. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, as listed in the notification.
- Also required
- Physical standards: men at least 163 cm tall and 84 cm chest (5 cm expansion), walk 25 km in 4 hours; women 150 cm and 79 cm chest, walk 16 km in 4 hours; height relaxable by 5 cm for Scheduled Tribes and some communities. No age relaxation for disabled candidates is listed. BC and EWS relaxation is for Andhra Pradesh candidates.
